The Corporate Facilities group is looking for a Sr Engineer or Below to join our team!
This person will provide professional engineering services to support the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and analysis of PSE facilities and assets with a focus on HVAC systems. They will schedule and coordinate major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives as well as review design and documentation to ensure compliance with PSE expectations. Interprets and applies existing guidelines and engineering principles, practices, and theories toward the completion of assignments involving a substantial degree of complexity, with many interrelated elements. We need someone who will support the continued development of PSE’s engineering workforce by sharing knowledge with others. This person must also support emergency response operations when needed and will uphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Substantial experience in planning, design, specification preparation, maintenance, project cost estimating and scheduling (for the Sr level, this is typically achieved after 7 years’ practice as a degreed engineer).
- Basic understanding of the integration of lighting, electrical and architectural design.
- Demonstrated organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- LEED Accredited Professional or ability to secure accreditation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in the utility industry or within a corporate environment.
- Possession of or ability to acquire a Professional Engineering license.
- Knowledge of engineering economics and analysis.
- Experience working on complex engineering projects.
- Basic knowledge of Building Management and DDC systems.
OTHER:
This position will be filled as Sr. Engineer, Engineer or Associate Engineer depending upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.
