Primary Responsibilities:

•             Reception, answering phones/making calls
•             Filing
•             Learn to process time cards
•             Prepare Quotations
•             Package parcels for mailing
•             Collate Safety, Marketing and Submittal Books.
•             General administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

•           Typing 40 wpm
•           Must be at least 18 years of age
•           Able to lift up to 25 pounds
•           Bending, reaching, standing, sitting
•           Good English skills required
•             Computer Literate (Word, Excel, search engines)
•             Drivers License and satisfactory driving record preferred

Experience: 

•           High school graduate
•           Some office experience or related education

Building information modeling (BIM) has been widely adopted by the AEC industry for design and detailed preconstruction coordination, but direct use of BIM in the field is still gaining ground. In this session, learn some strategies and proven practices for applying BIM technology to the construction process. We will cover the following topics: construction logistics, mock-ups/visualization, digital layout, laser scanning, 4D sequencing, quantity take-offs, supply chain management, Skanska Digital Resource Stations, field notebooks and tablets, and a general overview of some approaches and software for facility management.
